RT 3 Business for adaptation: challenges & opportunities

 Wednesday 11 May, 09.00 – 10.30, Town Hall

It has been six months since COP21 in Paris. At this historic conference, the private sector was more involved than ever before. Companies are feeling the impacts of climate change, but they can also provide the solutions we need. In this Round Table we will explore how the emphasis on adaptation in the Paris Agreement applies to business, how companies understand the business case for action and what role the public and private sector should play. We will be challenging panellists to show us how the private sector can be mobilised to go beyond a mitigation focus and also embrace the need for adaptation. Join this debate!
